Five Days of Greatness – Upper School Dress-up Days
While we look forward to seeing your spirited scholars, remember to keep their attire free from pop culture, politics, and current events. This ensures our focus remains on effective teaching and learning throughout the school day.
Monday, February 3rd – College Shirt Day
Celebrate your favorite college or university by wearing their shirt with your uniform bottoms. The shirt must cover the same parts of the body as the regular uniform.
Tuesday, February 4th – Texas Tuesday
Add western accessories to the uniform. Time to bring out those cowboy hats, bandanas, and boots!
Wednesday, February 5th – Dress Like a Teacher Day
Choose a specific GHLS Upper School teacher or administrator to imitate!
Teacher “costumes” must cover the same parts of the body as the regular uniform.
If you would like to come dressed as a PE coach, bear in mind that includes the full ensemble, including the sweat! Scholars who wish to model their coaches will be led in a workout during the school day. One more note: our coaches don’t wear leggings, and neither should you.
Thursday, February 6th – House Colors Day
Add all your house-colored accessories to your uniform!
Friday, February 7th
Middle School – Wear your house shirt with regular uniform bottoms and get ready for Great Hearts Serve!
High School – Regular uniform including oxford shirts, dress shoes, and ties required for High School Symposium
