Textbooks

At the beginning of the academic year, textbooks are issued from Great Hearts Lakeside to each student. The issued textbooks are to be returned in permissible condition at the end of the school year.

EduKits & Supply Lists

Great Hearts Lakeside partners with EduKit to make school supply shopping as quick and easy as possible. EduKit orders include all the school supplies your child will need for the upcoming school year and are delivered right to your doorstop prior to the beginning of the school year. Because EduKit is able to order school supplies in bulk quantities, those savings over retail are able to be passed on to families. Order by July 1!

Order a Middle School (6-8) EduKit

If you would rather go shopping for your scholar’s school supplies rather than buy an EduKit, you can find the supply lists by grade below.

7th Grade Supply List 24-25

8th Grade Supply List 24-25

9th Grade Supply List 24-25

Please note, as ninth-grade students have more freedom in the materials needed for courses, the list above includes suggested supplies. Faculty may require other specific supplies; if so, this will be communicated later in the Summer.

Financial Assistance: Supplies & Uniform

Please complete the application linked below to request financial assistance for school supplies and uniforms on behalf of your child/children for the 2024-2025 school year. Please list the name of each child in your family who is currently registered to attend Great Hearts Lakeside in the 2024-2025 school year. This includes students who are already enrolled in the 2023-2024 school year.

Note: Due to the deadline for placing orders with 1st Day School Supplies, any applications received after June 12, 2024 will not be eligible to receive school supply assistance. If approved, one complete grade-level school supply box will be provided for each enrolled student included on this application. Uniform vouchers will be available only until supplies run out.

This application only applies to uniform and school supply assistance. All other campus assistance will be determined based on the Federal Free and Reduced Meals application, which will be available in Summer 2024 for the 2024-2025 school year. Parents of every enrolled student will receive an e-mail message when the new FRL application is available.

Middle School Binder Organization

For 6-8th grade students, we recommend the binder organization system linked below. Once you purchase supplies, please assist your students in setting up their binder. During the first week of school, teachers will also help students to implement and maintain this organization. Ninth-grade students are welcome to use this as well, though they may choose a different system if they would like.
